Great basketball, great fun benefit SC Fathers and Families

Harlem Rockets come in all shapes and sizes. 

The results are in from a couple of fun nights of basketball and comedy in Lancaster and Bennettsville, and the winners are South Carolina fathers and families.

The fabulous Harlem Rockets comedy basketball team put on a great show in both locations, drawing good crowds and pulling the fans into the fun on-court.

And local sponsors opened their hearts and checkbooks to support our fatherhood programs.

In Lancaster, the event raised almost $20,000 for the Lancaster Fatherhood Project, clearing about $12,500 after expenses were paid. The following were sponsors:

A few days later, the Rockets put on their show in Bennettsville for the benefit of Man 2 Man. The total raised was $12,272, with a net benefit to the program of $4,274.
