Our programs prepare to introduce themselves to Sumter, Florence

The meetings in Sumter and Florence will be similar to this one, held in Aiken in March 2014.

The expansion of our programs statewide is taking shape. The next steps are to introduce ourselves to two new communities: Sumter and Florence.

On Feb. 17, Midlands Fatherhood Coalition will introduce itself to Sumter. The program will begin at 11:30 a.m. at USC Sumter Arts and Letters Building, 200 Miller Road, Sumter, SC. A light lunch will be served.

One week later, on Feb. 24, a similar Information Sharing Forum will be hosted by Man 2 Man at the Florence County Library, 509 South Dargan Street, Florence, SC.

These meetings will be similar to the one we held in March 2014 in Aiken to familiarize that community with our programs, several months before the official ribbon-cutting of our program in that community.

These sessions will be information, but also an opportunity for those interesting in fighting the problems posed by fatherlessness to connect with us and form partnerships in the cause.

If you know anyone in those communities who ought to be there, please give them and us a heads-up!
