Men's Wearhouse Partners with South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families for the Retailers 10th Annual National Suit Drive

Men's Wearhouse will partner with the South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families for the launch of the retailer's 10th Annual National Suit Drive. The Center is one of 180 nation-wide nonprofit organizations to benefit from the campaign which provides professional clothing for men re-entering the workforce. Between July 1 and July 31, Men's Wearhouse will give customers 50 percent off the purchase of a new suit when they donate gently used suits or other professional attire during the campaign. Donated clothing collected at Men's Wearhouse stores in the Columbia area will be delivered to fatherhood program participants enrolled in job readiness training at one of our 17 programs across the state.

During last year's suit drive, a record of more than 260,000 items of clothing were donated. To contribute to this year's drive, residents in South Carolina can donate: suits and sports coats; dress shirts and collared shirts; sweaters; casual pants; vests; dress shoes; jackets; long coats and rain coats. Women's professional clothing and accessories are also accepted.

There are three drop off locations in Columbia: 120 Columbiana Circle, 701 Harden Street and 231 Forum Drive.

Last year, the campaign helped fathers in our programs enter the work force or apply for new jobs professionally and confidently dressed for success.
