Center Attends International Fatherhood Conference

SCCFF President Pat Littlejohn helped lead discussion on the link between responsible fatherhood and healthy family relationships at the International Fatherhood Conference held earlier this month in Minneapolis, MN. Joining Littlejohn were panel members Rich Batten, director of technical assistance, Public Strategies, Inc., Oklahoma City, OK, and Project Fatherhood Director Alan Michael Graves, Children’s Institute, Inc., Los Angeles, CA. Charisse Johnson, branch chief from the Office of Family Assistance in Washington, DC served as moderator.
The annual conference, celebrating its 20th year, is presented by the National Partnership for Community Leadership and focuses on evidenced-based and evidence-informed practices and research findings that are leading to advances in the responsible fatherhood field.

Conference highlights included a training institute on evaluating fatherhood programs presented by the Fatherhood Research and Practice Network (FRPN) and a special institute for faith-based leaders.
